Oatmeal Bread with Nuts and Raisins

Oatmeal Bread

2 cakes yeast
1/4 cup lukewarm water
4 cups boiling skim milk
2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup butter
10 - 11 cups flour (sifted)
1/2 cup molasses
1 tbsp salt
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped nuts

Dissolve the yeast in the warm water.
Add he skim milk o the rolled oats  and butter and let stand for 30 minutes. Add the molasses, salt and the dissolved yeast. Add enough of the flour to make soft dough. Put dough into a buttered bowl, cover and let rise until doubled, turn out onto floured bowl and knead about 10 minutes divide into 3 loaves and place in buttered 9 inch loaf pans and let rise again. Brush the top with melted butter and bake in a 400 degree oven for 40 - 50 minutes.
