Saloon Cabbage Salad with Apples and Celery
5 cups white cabbage
1 stalk of celery (salad or root)
1 apple
1/4 cup of vinegar
1/2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar.
Cut the peeled apples into
slices, cut the celery into strips 4–5 cm long; prepare white cabbage as
described above; mix all this, put in a salad bowl, add sugar and pour vinegar.
This salad is served with all fried and boiled meat dishes, with fried and
boiled fish, served with cold meat and fish dishes, as well as an independent
dish.
