Swedish Meat Balls - Mrs. Martin Schow (Svenska Kottbullar)

Swedish Meat Balls

1 lb hamburger
1 lb pork sausage
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups rolled cracker crumbs
2 large potatoes, cooked and mashed
salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients and form into balls. Brown in part butter and part vegetable shortening. Then place in baking dish. Pour juices from pan with 1 cup cream over meat balls. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. This makes 30 medium meat balls.
