Petra's Lefse - Mrs. LeRoy Sanders

Petra's Lefse


5 to 6 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 qt milk
1/2 cup butter, melted

Scald the milk, Add the butter. Pour over the flour and salt immediately. Stir. Coo. Roll thin and bake on griddle. For serving sprinkle with water and lay between dish towels to soften.
I have enjoyed eating this Norwegian lady's lefse since I was a little girl. It is very tender and good.
