Lefse
5 1/2 cups flour
2 cups hot milk
1/4 lb. margarine
about 2 tbsp sugar
salt
Add milk mixture to flour. Stir well. Let cool. Then add 2 cups mashed potatoes. Let stand 1 hour.
Roll out thin. Bake a minute or 2. Then have ready 3 beaten eggs to which you have added some milk. Brush on the lefse. Bake until dry. Then turn over and finish baking.
When you want to serve this, lay the pieces between damp dish towels to soften. Serve with butter and sugar. The baked lefse will keep for weeks.
