Fruit Soup - Mrs. Kenneth Queensland

Fruit Soup


1 11oz pkg mixed dried fruits
1/2 cup golden, seedless raisins
3 or 4 inches stick cinnamon

Combine above ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat and dimmer uncovered till fruits are dender. (30 minutes.)

Add:
1 orange, unpared, cut in thin slices
1 12 oz. can unsweetened cherry juice
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp quick cooking tapioca
1/4 tsp salt

Bring to a boil; cover; cook over low heat 15 min. Serve warm or cilled. 8 to 10 servings
