Mjuh Pepperkaka (Soft Swedish Spice Cake)


1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 cup sour cream or buttermilk
1 cup melted butter or margarine
3 eggs (beat lightly)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup blanched almonds

Mix sugar and cream. Add chopped almonds, spices, melted butter and eggs. Add flour and soda sifted together. Bake in iron fry pan or tube pan for a short 50 minutes at 350 deg.
