Medalje Kager (Medal Cookies)
1 1/2 cups butter
1/2 cup sugar
4 egg yolks
4 cups flour
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and then the flour. Roll out tin and cut in rounds. Bake until liight brown in 350 deg. oven. When cold put two together with custard of lemon filling and frost with powdered sugar icing or whipped cream. A dab of tart jelly is dropped on the center of the frosting just before the cookies are served.
