Chicken Hotdish - Mrs. George Vikinstad (rice)

Chicken Hotdish

3 lb chicken, fryer
1 cup rice cooked in broth
1 cup onion (cut up fine)

and saute
1 cup celery
1 bell pepper

1 can mushroom soup
1 pkg chicken noodle soup (dry)

Boil chicken and debone it. While boiling, add celery stalk to chicken for flavor (take out after cooking.)
Cooke noodle soup as directed on package. Add mushroom soup and pour over cut up chicken and rice which was cooked in the  broth.
Add sliced almonds if desired. Bake at 350 deg.
