Cherry Spam Bake
This is a hurry-up main dish you can fix in about 30 minutes.
2 12oz cans Spam
1/4 tsp ground cloves
2-4 tbsp prepared mustard
16 slices processed cheddar cheese
1 can instant cherry pie filling mix
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut each can of meat into 9 slices, cutting almost, but not quite, through the bottom of the loaves. Mix the mustard and cloves in a cup and spread the mix between the slices of meat. Put a slice of cheese into each slit in the meat loaf. Arrange the meat in a baking dish and pour the cherries around it. Bak uncovered 15 minutes or until the cheese melts. slice loaves at right angles into the slits holding the cheese. 8 servings.
NOTE: This is a simple dish that a beginning cook can easily make. It is a favorite of mine.
