Berlinerkvanser (Berlin Wreaths)
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 1/2 cup flour
2 hard cooked egg yolks, mashed fine
1 tsp almond flavoring
Roll into strips that are the shape and thickness of a pencil. Make strips into wreaths. Brush with unbeaten egg white and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 325 deg. until golden (not brown). Do not overbake. Watch.
