Fattigman Bakkels
1 cup flour
3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp rum
Sift flour into bowl. Break eggs into flour and add salt and rum. Mix well. Roll paper thin. Cut in diamond 3" x 3" shapes. Slit centers. Fry in deep, hot fat. Spread with fork while frying (to open slit). Dip in sugar. Place in upright position to cool.
